Overview

LHH is assisting our client in recruiting a Staff Accountant for a temporary 3-month assignment. This role is based in Emeryville, CA, and offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to manage various financial tasks efficiently.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Staff Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay $40hr-$45hr
