Schedule:Full-time, flexible schedule with weekday and weekend shifts (e.g., TuesdaySaturday, 11 AM to 7 PM)
Pay:$68,640.00 $69,669.60/year with a strong benefits package
Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or Tagalog (required)
Our leading nonprofit client is dedicated to providing crisis intervention and support to survivors of domestic violence and their families in San Mateo County. They are seeking aCo-Response Advocateto be part of theirDomestic Violence Emergency Response Team (DVERT). This role will involve on-scene advocacy, safety planning, and case management for domestic violence victims when law enforcement is called to a home.
TheCo-Response Advocatewill work within the DVERT program, embedded with local law enforcement (North Fair Oaks Sheriffs Office, Daly City, and San Mateo Police Departments). When a domestic violence call occurs, law enforcement will request the advocate to respond once the situation is deemed safe. The advocate will provide immediate support and referrals to services like legal assistance, housing, and safety planning, and will follow up with limited ongoing advocacy.
