Lead DevEx Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Bay Area (San Mateo, 3x/week)

Salary: $200K-$260K + equity

About the Role: Were seeking a Lead DevEx Engineer with deep SRE / DevOps expertise to build, maintain, and optimize our engineering infrastructure. Youll build and maintain internal platforms and toolchains, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across both single-tenant and multi-tenant architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, automate and maintain cloud infrastructure: Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure systems using convergence frameworks like Terraform, CDK, etc.
• Manage multi-tenant and single-tenant environments: Optimize production operations for complex product configurations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Ensure fast, reliable build and release processes, including canary capabilities.
• Incident management and observability: Drive response strategies for critical incidents, implement robust monitoring.
• Champion system resilience and performance: Advocate best practices for fault tolerance, security, and operational excellence.
