We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our tax practice area, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing excellent service to our clients. This role is hybrid with 2 days in office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage the company's tax compliance, including income tax returns.
  
• Oversee tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax outcomes.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely tax payments.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  
• Provide excellent tax planning advice and consulting services.
  
• Coordinate tax projections, especially during October and November.
  
• Handle bookkeeping clients' needs.

• MS Teams for communication and collaboration.
  
• Softwares: QuickBooks Online, UltraTax, Canopy, Sureprep, Safesent
  
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and various types of tax returns.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Bachelors degree in accounting
  
• 3+ years of staff-level experience
  
• 5+ years of Tax Manager-level experience.
