Century Group is excited to have partnered with a wonderful organization in Richmond that is seeking a Project Accountant to join their driven team! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:

• Process AIA billings and change orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Review and analyze job cost reports, making necessary corrections to maintain financial accuracy.
• Process subcontractor and supplier lien releases in compliance with contract terms.
• Release subcontractor invoices for payment after verifying approvals and supporting documentation.
• Set up and maintain job accounting files for assigned projects, ensuring proper documentation and organization.

• Prior experience in the engineering or construction industry is required.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits and their impact on financial reporting.
• Familiarity with job cost accounting and project financial management.
• Experience processing subcontractor invoices, lien releases, and job-related financial transactions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, including financial analysis tools.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in job cost reports and billings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.
