Overview

Our client, a growing venture capital firm, is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing and dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with service providers (fund administrator, audit and tax teams, etc.).
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits, tax returns, and compliance filings.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for main funds and SPVs.
• Monitor portfolio company valuation adjustments and perform periodic valuations.
• Support documentation and ad hoc investment/accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
• 1-2+ years of professional experience
• Strong interest in Accounting and Finance with a strong preference for asset management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Location

San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations on Monday and Tuesday, with potential to increase.

Compensation

Base pay range: $105,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr.

Note: Salary range disclosure required by local law; discretionary bonuses; benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage and a 401(k) retirement plan.
