About the Team
The Project Management team is the customer-facing group responsible for managing projects through production and until delivery. The team works together and with other internal departments such as production, engineering, and finance teams to get orders from customers into the CRM/ERP systems, and through production. They are responsible for custom and complex projects, big and small.
About the Role
The Project Manager is an integral part of the Custom projects group. You will be directly working with the Project Manager Team Lead, and together, you will be responsible for qualifying, quantifying, and successfully executing opportunities to provide Tournesol engineering services toward the creation of Tournesol-manufactured solutions for specific and unique landscaping projects. You will work directly with the customer to ensure successful project outcomes.
You will handle scope management, which includes reviewing the project from the construction plans and drawings and confirming price estimates with the estimating team. Once an order is received, you are responsible for fulfillment of the order and ensuring that the Engineering and Production teams fully understand the specific order(s) requirements. You will also be responsible for the organization, maintenance and storage of project documentation.
More than anything else, you will provide the Tournesol team with the best possible opportunity to successfully execute the project to the customer's satisfaction. You will need to have experience in a construction or design environment, be extremely organized and detail oriented, and be comfortable with architectural drawings and spreadsheets. This is a full-time position. Some occasional travel to other facilities may be required.
What You Will Do
Ensure orders are complete, correct, and current at all times
Ensure each Project is appropriately priced for the nature, difficulty, and quantity of work and materials.
Use Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, and Bluebeam Revu
Document and organize for clear understanding by all project stakeholders
Collaborate with the Project Engineering team to ensure shop drawings are on-scope
Delivery and tracking of orders
What You Will Need
2 to 5 years of experience in project management or similar field
Experience in the construction or design industry
A strong desire to learn and understand our market
Good interpersonal, communication and phone/email skills, as well as a passion for helping customers
Great organizational skills - we work on many projects & orders at the same time. You'll be expected to keep them all current.
Great attention for detail and ability to distinguish the repercussions of small decisions
You should enjoy a fast-paced and diversified working environment
Ability to remain calm and in control, even when under pressure

Physical Demands

The pay range for this role is:
86,900 - 107,500 USD per year (Union City, CA)
76,700 - 98,500 USD per year (Port Orchard, WA)
74,700 - 94,750 USD per year (Fontana, CA)
