Finance at NexHealth

NexHealth is growing rapidly, and the Finance team is central to supporting this growth. The team is responsible for creating the financial infrastructure, working with senior leadership, and focusing on critical business issues. The Staff Accountant will handle core accounting and payroll processes, including month-end close, payroll, tax, audit processes, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Book and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses for month-end close, ensuring accurate payroll and commission accruals, and providing insights for financial reporting.
  • Analyze large data sets, identify trends, build financial models, streamline workflows, and validate data accuracy.
  • Contribute to variable compensation calculations and plan modifications.
  • Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll, ensure compliance, and maintain records with timely tax filings.
  • Identify and implement workflow automations to support scaling.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-growth environment (SaaS preferred).
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Quantitative field (Math, CS, Economics, Physics) preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including automation.
  • Experience with large data sets, SQL, and Salesforce preferred.
