Principal Recruitment Consultant at Goliath Partners

We're working with an AI research and product lab building the next generation of autonomous software agent: systems that can reason, take action, and operate across digital environments with minimal human input.

Backed by top-tier investors and led by repeat founders with a major exit in the AI space, they're assembling a small, high-impact team at the intersection of deep learning, human-computer interaction, and systems engineering.

The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be a core contributor to our Agentic Systems and Interaction initiatives, building the next generation of intelligent agents capable of autonomously navigating the web, interacting with filesystems, and completing complex user tasks. This role spans frontend interfaces, secure sandboxing environments, large-scale document retrieval, and language/vision model integration.

You'll work across:

  • Building search and retrieval pipelines across large-scale structured and unstructured data
  • Integrating LLMs, vision models, reinforcement learning, and scaffolding frameworks for autonomous, multi-step reasoning
  • Engineering secure virtualized runtimes and backend services for agent execution

What matters most is your drive to build production-grade ML systems that push the boundaries of what software agents can do.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and experience building and debugging complex ML-driven applications
  • Understanding of LLMs, prompting, and orchestration frameworks for multi-step reasoning
  • Ability to work across the full ML stack, from model integration to serving infrastructure
  • Experience designing or working with secure and virtualized execution environments
  • Excellent collaboration skills across product, research, and engineering teams

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience building or integrating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
  • Background or interest in HCI and designing intuitive agentic interfaces
  • Experience fine-tuning models for screen reading, OCR, or UI understanding
