About The Role

We are seeking a Design Director to lead end‑to‑end execution of wayfinding and information design projects for both interior and exterior environments. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery and serve as a professional coordinator and advisor to ensure high‑quality delivery of prepared design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Project Lead and discipline lead.
• Play Creative Director role depending on project team structure.
• Oversee delivery of projects from conception to production with minimal supervision.
• Delegate tasks to wider team and provide oversight and support.
• Coordinate with relevant sub‑contractors and suppliers.
• Lead internal and external workshops with project teams and stakeholders.
• Lead client communications and liaison alongside Account Manager/Project Manager.
• Develop positive relationships with existing clients and grow potential for future projects.
• Set up full project plans including objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar, and deliverables.
• Monitor project scope creep and negotiate cost and schedule changes with clients.
• Balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance, urgency and political impacts.
• Present project work to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables align to client's business needs.
• Manage less experienced staff and teams.
