Summary

Digital Analysis Auditor (DAA) within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Trade, Trade Regulatory Audit (TRA). Locations: Ashburn VA, Laredo TX, Miami FL, Newark NJ, San Francisco CA, Washington DC.

Overview

Open 10/15/2025 – 10/21/2025. Salary GS-13 $105,383–$137,000. Telework not eligible. Travel domestic ≤25%.

Responsibilities

  • Audit program planning and advisory services.
  • Computer‑related audit investigative activities.
  • Analysis for geographically dispersed audit teams.
  • Collaborate with OIT and TRA program teams.
  • Advanced operations research, statistics, scientific methods.
  • Develop automated audit testing tools and statistical sampling.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting.

Experience. 1 year specialized experience. Audit techniques, laws, regulations, GAGAS compliance.

Security Clearance. Top Secret required.

Conditions of Employment

  • U.S. Citizen required. Selective Service registration for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Background investigation.
  • Drug testing per CBP plan.
  • Probationary period one year.
