In this position as a Digital Analysis Auditor (DAA) you will provide comprehensive audit program planning and advisory services and conduct computer related audit investigative activities throughout the audit lifecycle. This position starts at a salary of $105,383.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $137,000.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Major duties for this position include but are not limited to: Performing or providing analysis for a geographically dispersed team of auditors delving into and exploiting automated record keeping systems during audits of major multinational corporations of major targeted businesses. Collaborating with the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) and the Office of Trade's Trade Transformation Directorate and Operations Directorate programmers for developing, enhancing, implementing, and monitoring sophisticated management TRA information systems. Applying advanced concepts of operations research, statistics, and scientific methods and techniques in identifying and solving a variety of complex challenges. Developing, modifying, and utilizing automated audit testing tools, techniques, statistical sampling schemes, and extensive hardware/software applications to exploit automated electronic data processing (EDP) systems.
Basic Requirement: You must provide supporting documentation in your application to show you meet the basic requirement below: A. Degree: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business law. Transcript must include date degree was awarded or conferred. OR B. A combination of education and experience - at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Developing and maintaining relationships among team members, divisions, components, as well as external stakeholders, as appropriate in the development of work products and represents the agency Planning, implementing, and managing multiple projects, audits and/or other engagements that are broad in scope and/or complex with limited guidance and within established time frames Conducting audits and other audit related activities by applying audit techniques, laws, and regulations and generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS) ...
Motor Vehicle Operation: You must possess the ability to operate a Government Owned Vehicle. A valid, non-restricted driver's license is required. Security Clearance: You may be required to obtain a Top Secret clearance for this position. Training: This position has a training requirement. Selectees are required to attend up to 4 weeks of paid training. The location will be determined at the time of training. You are required to successfully complete (passing score of 70% or higher) the training requirement as a condition of employment.
