We provide case worker services to people who are unhoused or living with complex health needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable IT Technician to provide part-time technical support and assist with maintaining secure, functional systems for our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable supporting a small nonprofit environment using Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Windows, Apple, and basic HIPAA compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain staff computers, tablets, and phones
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues (Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, printers, etc.)
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and device access
• Assist with implementing security updates and backups
• Support leadership with IT documentation and equipment tracking
• Coordinate with external security and IT consultants as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and Apple environments
• Familiarity with data protection and HIPAA privacy standards preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to requests
• Reliable access to transportation for occasional on-site support in San Francisco

• Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Hours: Part time, flexible hours
• Rate: $30-$45/hour, depending on experience
