Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $111,525.00/yr
Location
This opportunity is available at any location within the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the “best” candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical design of low voltage and communication systems for building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems.
- Prepare engineering drawings and specifications, conduct site visits, review technical documents, and integrate Owner specific installation requirements with site specific applications.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
- Learn from senior team leaders and be mentored.
Qualifications
- Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
- 4 or more years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.
- Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
- Credentials as an RCDD or working toward this title (preferred).
- Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline (preferred).
