Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $111,525.00/yr

Location

This opportunity is available at any location within the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the “best” candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design of low voltage and communication systems for building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings and specifications, conduct site visits, review technical documents, and integrate Owner specific installation requirements with site specific applications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
• Learn from senior team leaders and be mentored.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
• 4 or more years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.
• Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Experience with Revit software.
• Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
• Credentials as an RCDD or working toward this title (preferred).
• Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline (preferred).
