Position Overview

Enhances the operational efficiency of Imaging Services by directly assisting imaging technologist(s) and performing a variety of tasks to improve patient flow, supplies, and information within the Imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Patient room preparation

• Stock/inventory maintenance

• Patient transport coordination

• Occasional reception/scheduling duties as needed

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)

Certification & Licensure: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Skills & Knowledge

• Good body mechanics
• Clear communication with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain composure during challenging interactions
• Process requests quickly, accurately, and consistently with general supervision
• Customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Lift and position patients properly using best practices
• Walk or stand for long periods
• Work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner
• Answer telephones
• Establish filing systems
• Maintain filing systems
• Medical Terminology

Job Shift & Schedule

Days – Full Time, 8:00 Hours – 40 Weekly Hours – Monday to Friday, Weekend requirements as needed.

Benefits

Yes – Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. Pay Range: $32.72 to $40.90 / hour. Compensation considers experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
