Role Description

This is a hybrid in office / remote position for a full-time or part-time role for a Family Law Attorney located in San Mateo, CA. The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for handling family law cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in mediation and court hearings, and providing legal advice. The attorney will work closely with the firm's team to develop case strategies and ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience in family law, including asset and debt division, business valuation, and custody disputes
  • Skills in legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client and opposing counsel interactions, as well as courtroom appearances
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and maintaining respectful professional relationships
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Member of the California State Bar in good standing
