Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $37.00/hr

LHH is teaming up with a well-established organization in the retail industry based in Emeryville, CA in search of a Compensation Analyst to support their HR and analytics teams with data-driven insights and compensation modeling.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives under tight deadlines. You should be able to manage large datasets, identify trends, and communicate technical findings in a clear and actionable way. Experience in compensation, HR analytics, or finance is preferred, and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze compensation data and trends to support HR and business initiatives.
• Build and maintain complex Excel models including formulas, pivots, and data validation.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of large datasets used for compensation planning.
• Translate technical analysis into clear insights for HR and business partners.
• Support compensation benchmarking and market analysis.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, data validation, modeling) required.
• Strong technical and analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Effective communication skills to present data-driven insights.
• Experience in compensation, HR analytics, or finance preferred.
