Pinterest Technical Program Managers deliver critical & strategic outcomes by directing and scaling engineering efforts across organizational and functional boundaries.

This role is within the Monetization org, responsible for the Pinterest ads ecosystem. You will drive the development of new solutions, scale existing solutions, solve complex engineering problems, and lead ambiguous programs from inception to launch. Example programs include building new ad products, launching & optimizing ads in international markets, driving new integrations, building AI-driven tools, simplifying advertiser interfaces, and scaling machine learning models to meet advertising needs.

What You'll Do

  1. Proactively identify and drive key strategic explorations
  2. Translate strategic ideas into execution plans and be accountable for their completion
  3. Drive complex technical decisions across multiple teams
  4. Execute at both breadth (big picture) and depth (detailed execution) levels
  5. Be a thought leader to stakeholders by influencing product roadmap during planning cycles
  6. Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, data analytics, Sales, Business Development, Research, and marketing to turn opportunities into outcomes
  7. Define new processes to streamline stakeholder collaboration
  8. Build relationships with key stakeholders across disciplines and organizations
  9. Establish transparent communication channels to update schedules, priorities, status, and risks

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical program manager or related role
  • BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership skills to develop initiatives from scratch and thrive in ambiguity
  • Passion for execution and delivering results
  • Solid technical background to understand designs, challenges, and risks
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor metrics, identify growth opportunities, and manage incidents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to influence and align teams and stakeholders
  • Experience creating and implementing efficient processes at scale
  • Prior experience in the ads space is preferred

Additional Details

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. The role requires in-office presence 1-2 times per quarter, and can be based anywhere in the US.

Salary range: $120,082—$247,228 USD, with potential for equity. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and skills.
