Position Summary:

Pillsbury is seeking a 3rd – 4th year associate to join the San Francisco Litigation Group. This associate will litigate, manage, and try complex matters, working in a busy, collegial litigation group focused on expanding its strong practice.

Job Description

Responsibilities include: working on existing and new litigation matters, collaborating with associates and partners, developing case strategies, handling all aspects of litigation (fact investigation, pleadings, motions, discovery, pretrial, and trial work), and maintaining client relationships. Litigation types include antitrust, unfair competition, construction, insurance recovery, labor, employment, product liability, white collar investigations, higher education, and general commercial litigation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academics
  • Member of the California State Bar in good standing
  • Previous or current employment with an Am Law 100 firm is preferred

  • Strong academic credentials, excellent communication, interpersonal skills
  • Superior oral advocacy, research, writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to practice development and career growth

Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.

Salary range: $260k - $310k, dependent on experience and skillset.
