Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager for the Commercial Real Estate Banking team.

Responsibilities

  • Underwriting: Performs risk rating on new and existing loans; analyzes financial statements addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring, pricing and credit analysis for recommendation to manager on lending decisions. Make recommendations on the structure of credit for approval.
  • Credit monitoring: Develop solutions for problem loan credit; responsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio.
  • Portfolio Management: Perform maintenance on portfolio of loans; maintain & expand client relationships; manage loan renewal process.
  • Business Development: Participate in community and business functions; develop other deposit/services relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience
  • 2+ years of banking experience
  • Strong understanding of credit policy and procedures and ability to accurately risk-rate loans/credits; evaluate both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits
  • Develop problem loan credit solutions
  • Strong knowledge in Treasury, FX and Derivative products; demonstrated ability to coordinate the resources of the bank to bring effective full-service solutions to the company

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
