Overview
Client seeks a strategic and hands-on Senior Director of Finance to lead financial infrastructure development during a period of growth. This role ensures transparency, compliance, and sustainability while supporting a values-driven culture and long-term vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage contracts and grants, ensuring compliance and alignment with program goals.
- Develop scalable financial systems and tools.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide real-time financial analytics and dashboards.
- Oversee audits, funder reporting, and financial statements.
- Advise leadership on financial implications of strategic decisions.
- Align financial operations with organizational goals and support cross-functional workflows.
- Ensure legal compliance and manage risk through policies and internal controls.
- Transition from fiscal sponsorship to independent financial operations.
- Foster a culture of transparency, inclusion, and financial literacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in finance/accounting required; MBA, MPA, or CPA preferred.
- 7–10 years of financial leadership experience, ideally in a start-up or mission-driven setting.
- Expertise in financial systems, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and grant management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation
Salary range: $190,000–$250,000 with comprehensive benefits
