W2 Candidates only

Manager Notes

  • Needs a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience. There is no max
  • Crowdstrike or Zscaler - not a dealbreaker, but manager would be curious what they were using for security and endpoint management. What "zero trust tool" have you used in the past
  • Linux expertise with endpoint management experience is the real key here.
  • This role will be the primary POC to manage their Linux fleet. This is a small footprint - approximately 20 users
  • When they come on board, they will partner with existing Linux community. They will establish standards and baselines to bring into full compliance
  • They will assume day to day responsibility to manage those endpoints and assist with any troubleshooting or driver issues
  • Dealing w/ very technical people. They need to have a deep understanding of the operating system
  • There are currently different distributions in use, but their goal is to standardize FleetDM.
  • FleetDM would be a very strong preference if possible. If not, needs deep Linux systems, good familiarity with Security Controls, and extensive background with CIS Hardening - that would be v important
  • Will go toe-to-toe with technical Linux userbase
  • Org is going thru a Zero Trust program at the moment. They will be connected to the program
  • The footprint is small, but experience working in a similar tech industry environment is preferred. These engineers are v specific about their endpoints and the endpoint they use and everything that is running on it
  • Comfortable supporting highly technical engineers
