We're looking for a Manager, Revenue Data for our Revenue Data team to help shape DoorDash's revenue reporting data infrastructure and processes, while keeping pace within the fast and evolving online marketplace company.
About the Role
If you're a proactive and self-motivated Accounting and Data expert, this role may be for you. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue systems, core data skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, are required.
You will report to a Senior Manager on our Revenue Data team in the Accounting organization. Once offices reopen, this role is expected to remain 100% remote eligible.

- Leverage a hybrid of proficiencies in revenue accounting and data engineering to analyze financial data, optimize reporting processes, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization
- Work cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Engineering, Product, Finance, Tax, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, AR, AP, IT, and various business owners to drive policies, processes, and programs and help lead system initiatives and improvements
- Supervise and mentor a team of senior analysts in developing and designing comprehensive accounting data requirements for the Revenue Subledger system, facilitating automation of journal entries while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Lead operational improvement initiatives to streamline revenue tasks and shorten the revenue close calendar
- Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities, including GAAP revenue analysis, cost of revenue analysis, accounts receivable reconciliations, review of journal entries, and review of close package deliverables
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to continuously improve the daily Revenue Reconciliation process and manage reconciliation analysis with the analytics team
- Review new product designs in the internal Financial Compliance Review and assess impact on existing or new accounting requirements for the Revenue Subledger
- Cross-collaborate with technical accounting and operational accounting on journal entry flows for automation via the Revenue Subledger
- Review month-end close activities including reconciliation of receivables, unearned revenue, and transactional revenue in accordance with ASC 606
- Monitor Data Quality of journal entries configured via the Revenue Subledger and design new data quality checks for identified use cases
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and projects as assigned
We're excited about you because…
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in revenue accounting, data analytics, and/or business intelligence
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606; IFRS knowledge a plus
- Intermediate/advanced SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data; Python a plus
- Self-motivated and self-managed with independent, creative thinking
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse workload and multiple deadlines; humble and scrappy
- Attention to detail balanced with swift execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
We expect this position to be filled by 12/9/25.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay will fall within the range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized by work location. Ranges may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.
Base pay range for the United States: $153,000 - $225,000 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer matching, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, paid time off and sick leave, disability and life insurance, mental health programs, and other offerings.
