THE GIST:

Our client, an accomplished tech executive founder, seeks a Nanny/Family Assistant to support their family in Burlingame. The role will mainly be responsible for caring for their toddler and newborn. The ideal candidate is nurturing, safety-conscious, organized, and energetic, with a genuine love for children and experience managing the different needs of a toddler and an infant. Hours are mainly 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with occasional assistance during nights & weekends.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

Infant Care:

• Feeding (bottle and/or breastfeeding support)
• Diapering and dressing
• Sleep and nap schedule management
• Infant developmental play and tummy time
• Sterilizing bottles and baby equipment

Toddler Care:

• Engaging in age-appropriate play and learning activities
• Meal and snack preparation
• Assisting with potty training (if applicable)
• Encouraging early childhood development (language, motor skills, social interaction)
• Outdoor walks, park visits, and playdates (as appropriate)

General Responsibilities:

• Maintaining daily routines for both children
• Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas, washing dishes)
• Tracking developmental milestones and daily activities
• Communicating regularly with parents about the day's events and any concerns
• Light errands

THE ESSENTIALS:

• 3+ years of experience as working in childcare
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
• Nurturing & warm demeanor
• Flexibility to work on nights & weekends when needed
• Expert ability to anticipate the needs of others and service-oriented mindset
• Keen attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

COMPENSATION: $90,000-$110,000/yr base salary + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
