Private Equity Associates, Summer 2026 | Healthcare Tech

Selby Jennings is currently engaged with a Private Equity Mega Fund kickstarting their Summer 2026 Associate search. This fund operates globally, but is looking to increase their Associate team out of San Francisco.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst with Health Technology, and are currently in or open to relocating to San Francisco/Bay area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities in health tech.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments.
• Support due diligence processes including commercial, financial, and operational assessments.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and assist in value creation initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior team members and portfolio company management.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development.
• Strong understanding of healthcare and technology sectors, especially digital health, SaaS, and data analytics.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated interest in private equity and healthcare innovation.

Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
