Manager, Sponsored Research Contract Administration
This position is remote; however, you must be based in a KP location, CA, OR, CO, WA, GA, MD, VA, HI or D.C. The Manager, Sponsored Research Contract Administration manages the KFRI research contracting function in compliance with KP policies and procedures, federal and State law and other applicable requirements. The Manager, Sponsored Research Contract Administration supervises contracting personnel, and manages contract development, negotiation, execution, and processing, and tracking of KFRI-s contracting function workload, prioritization, and execution. The Manager will collaborate with regional research leadership in research contracting, including the promotion of best practices in research contracting across the KP research program.
Essential Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of grant, contract, and/or legal agreement negotiation experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Bachelors degree in Humanities, Sciences, Public Health, Engineering, Public Administration, Business, or Accounting with emphasis in Business, Accounting, Management, Finance, Research Administration, or Health Care or related field AND minimum six (6) years of experience in health care, research, academia, award management, or a directly related field OR Minimum nine (9) years of experience in health care, research, academia, award management or a directly related field.
