About The Role

The TRIO ETS Program Coordinator develops and implements academic preparation services for 9th–12th grade students, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines, managing day-to-day services, and collaborating with schools and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver student-focused ETS activities aligned with grant objectives: supporting students through high school, increasing graduation rates, promoting A-G coursework, facilitating postsecondary enrollment, and encouraging degree completion within six years.
• Administer the ETS program in compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations and TRIO guidelines.
• Maintain participant records, oversee data collection, and support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to recruit and support participants.
• Engage in professional development to stay informed on educational policies.

Location & Schedule

This position is 100% on-site at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, CA, with occasional work at UCSF's Mission Center. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

The salary range is $65,600 - $98,400 annually, dependent on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience advising and supporting educationally disadvantaged students.
• Knowledge of high school and college admission requirements and policies.
• Understanding of youth development and cultural awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Proficiency with computer software (email, Word, Excel, internet, Canva).
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience working with high school students.
• Experience with data collection and spreadsheet use.
