Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Mechanical/Electrical Engineer – MEP Building Design

Full-Time | Minimum of 3+ Years of Experience Required

What You'll Do

  • Perform engineering calculations and design Electrical, or HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects
  • Develop drawings, models, and specifications using Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
  • Conduct site visits, field surveys, and construction administration duties
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support contractors during project execution
  • Stay current with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices
  • Assist senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience in MEP building systems design (minimum)
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD required
  • Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards, NEC, and other applicable design standards
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred
