About The Team: The Investor Relations (IR) team sits within the Finance organization, and is a key component of Stripe's long-term success. Our team is responsible for developing and managing Stripe's equity capital markets activities. Our primary focus is effectively communicating Stripe's business strategy and financial performance in order to cultivate long-term partnerships with our global investor base and other important partners. We also design and execute equity transactions and advise Stripe's leadership team on developments and trends in our industry and the capital markets. We operate in a fast-paced environment and collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Finance and other orgs to analyze financial performance and key business developments for use in investor communications
  • Leverage your experience and knowledge to support and influence significant equity transactions and investor events, including tender offers and secondary market transactions
  • Provide expertise and support to cross-functional projects across the company, including capital allocation, financial planning, debt issuance, and corporate development
  • Manage the creation and distribution of routine and ad-hoc investor reporting materials
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with shareholder engagement activities, including investor meetings, calls, and events
  • Monitor and report on industry trends related to financial performance and equity capital markets
  • Own day-to-day operations for the IR program, including cap table management and other core processes

Who you are

Minimum Requirements

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, corporate development, or corporate finance
  • A strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, and valuation analysis
  • A keen analytical eye, and experience solving ambiguous problems through structured financial and data analysis
  • A proven ability to be a self starter capable of driving results without significant supervision
  • Propensity to operate with a sense of urgency combined with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements and a “roll up your sleeves” mindset to get any job done
  • Experience building strong collaborative working relationships with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to distill complex financial information for external audiences

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in their local office or with users. This may vary by role, team and location. Some locations have higher in-office requirements, and hiring managers will discuss expectations with the team. This approach balances in-person collaboration with flexibility where possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $147,200 - $220,800. For roles with sales components, the range includes base salary plus target commissions/bonuses and may be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may request the salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or commissions, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and wellness stipends.
