Joining Loom is an opportunity to be at the forefront of industry transformation — how video is used at work and how AI can leapfrog video creation, editing and consumption. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the Loom Integration Platform team.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a technical leader and people manager, guiding the team in technical decisions for production services, helping prioritize and organize work, and providing career growth and mentorship to your team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers, fostering growth and promoting innovation and operational excellence
• Own the delivery of new product and systems initiatives
• Collaborate in technical & architectural discussions, provide direction, and drive decision-making
• Build an open, trusting, operationally mature culture that fosters continuous improvement
• Be the engineering voice in quarterly planning, driving the team's technical strategy and collaborating on product strategy
• Participate in hiring, planning, and budgeting

Your Background

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers in backend and/or fullstack teams
• Experience partnering with product managers and designers to shape product direction
• Experience with public-facing high-traffic e-commerce websites
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably Computer Science or equivalent)

Compensation & Benefits

At Atlassian, compensation programs are designed to be equitable, explainable, and competitive. The baseline is higher than typical market ranges, with final pay determined by skills, expertise, and experience. In the United States, base pay ranges by geographic zone are:

• Zone A: 206,100 – 269,075 USD
• Zone B: 186,300 – 243,225 USD
• Zone C: 171,900 – 224,425 USD
