About The Role

The purpose of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning through transition to post-project support, focusing on predetermined estimates and timelines. This role controls the flow of information on each project to ensure owners, construction managers, architects, subcontractors, and CBRE personnel understand the quality and schedule requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in the implementation of Building Systems and Technology upgrades, retrofits, and new installation projects.
  • Direct internal and external team members, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure clear understanding of scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements. Prepare project plans, delivery resource requirements, work plan schedules, milestones, and ensure quality control, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
  • Read, understand, and apply standard construction documents, including agreements/contracts, project charters, bid specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Direct, review, or approve project design drawings/changes and confirm installation requirements with team members and subcontractors.
  • Maintain project budget and prepare change orders as needed for additional work.
  • Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project, Excel, or other cloud-based tools.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources and scheduling with team leads and supervisors.
  • Monitor material procurement, drawing preparation, shipping, and overall implementation strategy.
  • Coordinate paperwork and documentation for each project including billing, schedules of values, AIA documents, pay applications, change orders, and subcontractor contracts.
  • Attend job progress meetings virtually or in person and distribute meeting notes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, construction managers, architects, and other project team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No formal supervisory responsibilities. May lead project teams and provide informal guidance or training. May assist in developing PMO standards and document practices. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a similar field; minimum 10 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Active knowledge of MS Office suite and MS Project; ability to manage budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex documents and construction drawings; strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively; professional attitude and customer service focus.

Certificates and Licenses

None required; a valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred for applicable vehicles.
