Applied AI Engineer role at Warp — Warp is building the platform for Agentic Development, a workbench for dispatching agents to code, deploy, and debug production software. The team has over half a million active developers and significant year-to-date revenue growth. You will join Warp to accelerate this transformation and report to John Rector, Head of Engineering.
Warp is changing how developers interact with technology—from coding by hand to coding by prompt. As our first Applied AI Engineer, you will help develop predictive AI features using user-generated content and team data. The role emphasizes product development and implementation, not purely research.

Total compensation at Warp consists of base salary and meaningful equity. The budgeted range for this role is $220,000 – $275,000, and final compensation depends on experience and expertise.
All employees receive equity with a four-year vesting period and a one-year cliff. We're happy to discuss valuation scenarios at the offer stage to help you understand the upside.
