Responsibilities

• Designs and enhances highly available, scalable infrastructure for both cloud and on-premises environments to support web and mobile platforms.
• Optimizes and manages databases, caching systems, and load-balanced server environments across cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Develops and maintains automation tools, monitoring systems, and dashboards to ensure system reliability and performance in hybrid environments.
• Participates in an on-call rotation, leading rapid incident response and proactively resolving performance or scalability issues across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Collaborates with engineering teams to implement secure, efficient, and scalable solutions for diverse data environments.
• Strengthens system security by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust policies for both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Possesses 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles, with a strong focus on both cloud and on-premises data solutions.
• Demonstrates expertise in managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and on-premises data systems at scale using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Shows proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) across hybrid environments.
• Exhibits strong coding skills in languages such as Python or Go.
• Has extensive experience with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis) and caching strategies in both cloud and on-premises settings.
• Displays exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues in diverse infrastructure environments.
• Brings strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
