Co-Founder & CTO - Socratix AI (YC S25) | Building AI co-workers for risk and fraud teams

Socratix AI builds AI coworkers for fraud and risk teams — agents that investigate alerts in real time, replacing manual reviews with fast, explainable decisions. Our agents plug into existing workflows and reason across signals like human analysts, helping teams reduce fraud losses, minimize false positives, and scale operations without scaling headcount.

We are MIT, UCLA, and IIT alumni with deep expertise in Fraud and AI. We are backed by Y Combinator, Pear VC and founders/top operators from DoorDash, Gusto, Square, and Roblox.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field with 2-4 years of full-time experience
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and API design
• Skilled in backend development with Python + FastAPI
• 0→1 builder mindset – comfortable creating from scratch
• Thrive in fast-paced startup environments

Nice to have

• Startup experience leading significant projects
• AI expertise: LangChain, RAG, embeddings, multi-step AI agents, agent evals & finetuning
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and covering a large product surface area

What you will do

As one of our first engineers, you'll:

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents
• Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups
• Work directly with founders on roadmap and strategy
• Drive execution in a high-impact role at a YC-backed startup
