Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Airport Systems Integration Lead reports to the Director of Innovation and Solutions within the Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) Division of SFO. The SME specializes in airside and landside systems that enable the efficient and safe operation of airports. The SME has working knowledge and first-hand experience in the use of airside systems to coordinate aircraft operations on runways and taxiways. The SME has working knowledge and first-hand experience in the use of landside systems to analyze passenger processing within airport terminals and ground transportation infrastructure. The SME collaborates with ITT developers to provide relevant domain knowledge to aid in the systems integration for common situational awareness of the operations on the airfield, within the terminals, and on the airport's roadways. Data from these integrations shall be stored in SFO Airport Operations Database (AODB) to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions in real-time and to perform analytics, forecasting, and capacity planning from historic data.
Responsibilities:
Education: An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field].
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in system administration, information systems development, maintenance and support, or information technology project management, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.
Note: One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours (2000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40 hours work week.) Any overtime hours that you work above forty (40) hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
