Primary Responsibilities

The position involves collaborating with clients and leading teams and projects in the HDR San Francisco Health or Education and Science "Ed-Sci" Studio. Projects include hospitals, clinics, research facilities, and other related structures across health, research, and biopharma sectors, covering areas like public health, life sciences, physical sciences, and biocontainment.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Coordinate work of Project Architects and manage multidisciplinary teams throughout project development.
• Participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
• Review projects with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Facilitate design sessions during all project phases with clients and teams.
• Manage staffing workload to meet project schedules.
• Track financial aspects and adjust work efforts to stay within budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with the Regional Controller and Managing Principal for project reviews.
• Facilitate quality meetings with the Quality Management Coordinator.
• Represent project management in marketing activities.
• Enhance client relations through excellent project delivery.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Health and/or Education and Science projects preferred.
• Interest in sustainable design/LEED is a plus.
• PMP certification.
• Minimum of 10 years in Architecture & Design industry.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team interaction skills.
