About The Role

We seek a finance leader to manage operational finance, crypto treasury, and financial reporting. Reporting to the Head of Operations/Treasury, you will oversee daily financial operations, maintain internal controls, enhance automation, and collaborate across teams to align with strategic and regulatory goals.

This position is ideal for someone thriving in a high-growth, crypto-native environment and aspiring to broader leadership roles.

What you'll be doing

• Treasury & Token Management: Manage wallets and accounts, enforce wallet hygiene, access controls, and custodial protocols. Execute token, stablecoin, and fiat disbursements aligned with schedules and regulations.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Reconcile on-chain and off-chain activities, create dashboards and reports for various stakeholders, and support budget planning.
• Financial Operations & Close: Lead monthly and quarterly closes, prepare financial statements per US GAAP or IFRS, and coordinate with auditors. Reconcile digital asset activities and produce multi-asset treasury reports.
• Automation & Systems Improvement: Develop automation solutions using tools like Google Apps Script, Airtable, and NetSuite to improve reporting and workflows.
• Controls & Compliance: Strengthen internal controls, ensure tax compliance, and collaborate with Legal on crypto regulations.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Act as a finance partner to HR, Legal, Ecosystem, and Business Development teams for strategic initiatives.

Role Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in financial control, accounting, or finance operations, with success in crypto treasury and digital asset reporting.
• Industry: Experience in Web3, blockchain, or high-growth tech startups; familiarity with Layer 1 protocols preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work across departments and contribute to strategic projects.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Communication: Effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Autonomy: Capable of working independently, managing initiatives, and prioritizing under deadlines.
