Our client isa mission-driven, VC-backed tech start-up that builds software for the home services & HVAC industry to drive adoption of energy-efficient systems. They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead fullstack development across their core products.
Job Title: Staff Fullstack Software Engineer
Location:San Francisco, Bay Area – candidates must be local and comfortable working onsite/hybrid 2-3x per week.
Required Technology and Skills:
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years at Staff/Tech-lead level, driving architecture, design, code-reviews, and best practices
- Expertise in Frontend development with React & Typescript
- Experience workingfullstackand leading development across Web/API and DevOps/Infrastructure (AWS)
- Experience working in fast-paced, start-up environment – ideally pre Series-B
- Experience building software products 0-1 and scaling 1-10
- Degree in Computer Science
Additional Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related-field
- Leadership/Architecture experience
- Desire to work for mission-driven organization
Salary Range: Target base salary range of $200,000 – $260,000 (based on experience), plus equity
