Reporting to the Bakery Department Manager, the Pastry Chef is responsible for the overall production of all bakery products (bread, cake and/or other pastries) produced and sold at the store. The position also oversees and plans ingredients and dough for bread, cakes, rolls, mousses, puddings, sweet goods, batters, icings and frostings in accordance with standard operating procedures or customer orders.
