We're looking for an Electrical Designer for our Redding, California office. This person can work out of our Redding Jacobs office or any of the California Jacobs offices. You'll have the chance to work on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and river facilities projects where you will play a role in the entire design process including but not limited to preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production. Base pay range

$74,100.00/yr - $129,600.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and river facilities projects.
  • Participate in the entire design process including preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (AA) or similar technical degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or related field.
  • Trained in Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation software.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Revit 3D modeling software.
  • Prior experience with BIM processes and parametric design software (Autodesk or Bentley).
  • Proficiency setting up views, view templates, sheets, and schedules for construction documents.
  • Proficiency printing full sets of construction documents and performing PDF quality control reviews (Bluebeam).
  • Proficiency coordinating design with other disciplines in 3D parametric and geometric content.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • Autodesk Revit Certified Professional.
  • Experience actively designing low voltage and communications systems for buildings.
  • Experience in electrical and low voltage systems design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Benefits and compensation

The base salary range is $74,100.00 to $129,600.00 and may be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
