Front End Engineer

Description:

As a Front End Engineer, you'll be in charge of designing, building, and improving user-facing features that provide a smooth, easy-to-use, and high-performance experience. You will work closely with the design, product, and backend teams to turn business needs into front-end code that can grow and be maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Use modern front-end technologies like React, Angular, and Vue.js to make user interfaces that are responsive and high-quality.
  • Work with UX/UI designers to make sure that designs are translated into functional components down to the last pixel.
  • Follow best practices and coding standards to write code that is easy to read, change, and test.
  • Make web apps faster, more scalable, and work with more than one browser.
  • Do code reviews and give your coworkers helpful feedback.
  • Use tools like Jest, Cypress, or something similar to come up with, keep up with, and improve front-end testing plans.
  • Make sure that all web interfaces follow accessibility standards, like WCAG 2.1.
  • Keep up with the latest front-end trends, new technologies, and best practices in the field, and push for constant improvement.
  • When needed, use root cause analysis to troubleshoot and fix complicated UI problems.
  • Work with backend engineers to connect APIs and make sure data flows smoothly.
  • Write style guides, component libraries, and technical best practices to help with documentation.

Qualifications

  • Necessary Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or the same amount of experience.
  • More than two years of professional experience with front-end development.
  • You should know how to use JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 well.
  • You should have worked with at least one modern front-end framework, like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of state management patterns like Redux, MobX, and Vuex.
  • You should know how to integrate RESTful APIs and write code that runs at the same time.
  • Good at debugging and making things run faster.
  • Familiar with version control systems like Git.
  • Good at talking to and working with others; can work well with people from different departments.
  • Paying attention to details and making sure that UI experiences are of high quality.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $40.00 to $70.00 per hour
