Join to apply for the Software Engineer - New Grad (2026 Start) role at Databricks. At Databricks, we are passionate about helping data teams solve the world's toughest problems by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform. We design and scale services and infrastructure across millions of virtual machines, enabling customers to use deep data insights to improve their business. We are looking for a software engineer to join our engineering team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform. We hire across backend, full stack, infrastructure, databases, systems, tools, cloud, and customer-facing products, with a cohort-based path and a dedicated mentor to accelerate onboarding and impact.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to build features and improve architecture for the Databricks platform
• Develop and extend the Databricks product
• Own full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and operating in production
• Build solutions with a high level of reliability, scalability, and security

Qualifications

• You will graduate in fall 2025 or spring 2026 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
• You have implementation skills with a general purpose programming language, such as Python, Java, or C++
• You have knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles
• You have experience managing end-to-end projects

Pay Range Transparency

Zone 1 Pay Range: $145,000—$155,000 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range: $137,750—$147,450 USD

Canada Pay Range: $125,000—$130,000 USD
