Position Overview

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice for Multi Family Office. We are looking for a dynamic individual capable of overseeing multiple client engagements, reviewing complex returns, managing staff, and conducting research. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to foster professional growth among staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.

  • Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Build and maintain impactful client relationships and collaborate with firm leadership.

  • Develop expertise aligned with firm niches and initiatives.

  • Ensure accurate time and billing for self and team.

  • Understand the client's business, complete assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Expand networking through soliciting new clients and participating in seminars.

  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, applying new knowledge proactively.

  • Collaborate with other tax professionals for efficient service delivery.

  • Achieve developmental goals and mentor junior team members.

  • Participate in training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

  • 5+ years of Family Office, tax compliance, or consulting experience.

  • CPA, JD, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field.

  • Experience with CCH Axcess or Pro Systems tax software.

  • Experience in client acquisition and business growth.

Location & Salary:

Preferred Location: San Francisco

Salary Range (California): $85,000 - $150,000. For other locations, the range varies based on market and experience.
