What You'll Do

• Lead & Grow the Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop engineers across levels. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture across a distributed team.
• Drive Product Delivery: Define roadmaps, scope initiatives, and ensure timely, high-quality releases in collaboration with product and design leads.
• Maintain Technical Excellence: Guide technical design reviews, balance speed and scalability, and ensure best practices in testing, reliability, and security.
• Enable Scale: Be a force multiplier, elevate those around you, optimize for speed and innovation.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a management or tech lead role. Startups or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow engineers while fostering trust, accountability, and collaboration. A kind yet confident leader who makes tough decisions when needed.
• Technical Depth: Strong background in our tech stack with hands-on capability and a track record of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
• Product Mindset: Comfortable working closely with product managers, designers, and founders with a bias toward shipping customer value.

In the First Two Months

• You'll join as both an engineer and tech lead, contributing directly as an IC to gain deep insight into our technology, processes, engineering culture, and developer experience.
• Starting in the third month, you'll transition fully into the Engineering Leader role.
