Overview

Senior Security Engineer/Architect (VP Level) — This role is with Iceberg. The base pay range is $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr. Direct message the job poster from Iceberg. This position reports to the CISO and contributes to a wide range of technical projects across the infrastructure security space. The role is based in the Bay Area with a requirement of 3 days onsite per week.

Advising Cybersecurity & eDiscovery executives and investors on how to attract, hire, and retain top talent globally. Responsibilities

• Drive Infrastructure Security Projects, including segmentation, automation, alerting, and monitoring across a Linux-heavy environment.
• Contribute to zero-trust initiatives with network protocols, segmentation, and infrastructure to improve security posture.
• Support and secure generative AI projects and other cutting-edge initiatives as they arise.

Qualifications

• Seasoned security engineer with experience between engineering and architecture; at least 10 years of experience.
• Strong Linux background; highly valued for upcoming projects.
• Skilled communicator who can break down complex technical concepts.
• Programming knowledge; must be able to write scripts and code to automate security solutions (not necessarily a developer).
• Hands-on technologist who executes on ideas, not just theorizes.
• Adaptable and smart; thrives in fast-moving environments and quickly learns new skills.
