Responsibilities

• Build and ship core features across frontend and backend for Albus and the Diagon platform.


• Design simple, effective UIs and workflows for managing manufacturing data.


• Develop and maintain data pipelines to bring in high-quality information.


• Create APIs to share structured knowledge and support sourcing workflows.


• Use and extend AI tools to improve data quality, speed decisions, and automate tasks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years shipping production software across the stack.


• Strong backend and data modeling skills.


• Experience with AI/LLM workflows, including: Calling LLM APIs (chat completions, embeddings, web search, etc.); Fine-tuning or customizing outputs using tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG pipelines; Working with agent frameworks (e.g. AutoGPT, CrewAI, LangGraph).


• Familiarity with our modern web app stack: TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, Shadcn/ui, PostgreSQL, Drizzle.


• Experience with large-scale data ingestion or web scraping.


• Experience in manufacturing tech, marketplaces, or hardware sourcing.


• Prior founding/principal engineer experience at a high-growth startup.
