The Industry Documents Library (IDL) at UCSF is seeking an IDL Education & Outreach Specialist to support its mission of facilitating research into public health issues such as smoking, secondhand smoke, and vaping. The IDL houses documents from lawsuits against corporations like Philip Morris and Juul, serving as a vital resource for researchers, educators, and legal professionals. In this role, the specialist will lead outreach, education, and communication efforts to promote the library's resources and engage diverse audiences, including students, attorneys, faculty, and public health professionals. Key responsibilities include creating webinars, tutorials, search guides, blog posts, and social media content tailored to various user groups. The specialist will also be responsible for crafting press releases and developing instructional videos to enhance accessibility and visibility of the library's resources.

The salary range for this position is $42.00 (Hourly Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
