In this hands-on role, you'll dive into a variety of tasks for events and programs — from Setting/Operating/Striking audio visual equipment, technical support and coordinator and client service. You'll work closely alongside our expert full-time staff ensuring every event/program is produced with skill and technical precision. The Audio Visual Technician (as needed/on-call) provides assistance to the Audio Visual department during periods of peak workload or on special projects. The Audio Visual Technician (as needed/on-call) must be open to work on temporary assignments varying in the number of hours and days.

Physical agility; good vision; manual dexterity required to move, operate, and make minor repairs of audiovisual equipment. Requires lifting and carrying equipment, including heavy equipment.
This position is represented by Local 1021, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and new hires start at step 1 of the wage range: $29.6949/ hour. This is an as needed/on-call position with the museum.
