  • Ability to analyze and interpret ML model behavior, limitations, and impact on user outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing product direction.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in San Francisco (five days per week).

Preferred

  • Experience building/maintaining analytics data models and metrics layers (e.g., dbt) and orchestrating pipelines (e.g., Airflow).
  • Familiarity with modern warehouses/BI (e.g., Snowflake/BigQuery, Looker/Mode) and large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark).
  • Prior work evaluating LLM or recommendation systems and developing evaluation frameworks for AI/ML features.
  • Background in high-scale products with strong experimentation cultures.
  • Experience mentoring other analysts/scientists and elevating experimentation/measurement practices.
