What We Are Looking For

You'll be the owner of observability across our platform, designing and implementing systems that give us end-to-end visibility into our distributed services, LLM inference pipelines, and developer-facing APIs. Your work will directly reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery), improve system reliability, and help every engineer debug and optimize systems faster.

As a Senior Observability Engineer, you'll define observability strategy, mentor other engineers, and influence company-wide reliability and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement observability architecture (metrics, logs, traces, and events) across all services.
• Instrument distributed systems and AI inference pipelines to enable root cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and self-service tools for developers, SREs, and Leadership.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical services and work to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering and product teams to identify and remediate bottlenecks.
• Improve incident detection, alerting, and postmortem processes to accelerate recovery.
• At senior levels: drive observability best practices company-wide, mentor engineers, and influence technical strategy for reliability.
  
  

• 6-8+ years in observability, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Strong experience instrumenting distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native workloads (Kubernetes, containers).
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Solid understanding of incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
